the graduate
This weekend I made an impromptu trip to Indiana to surprise Duke for his graduation.
We had so much fun bopping around Bloomington, relaxing at home with a tasty dinner and celebrating his wonderful accomplishments at IU. He was also kind enough to walk 5 miles with me, in addition to our daily runs. Not much of a walker, I thought it was pretty sweet, considering it was his big weekend.
I am so excited for him as he begins the next chapter of his life. It's been two years (yesterday) since I graduated and it's certainly a time of great change. I look forward to seeing how he continues to grow and excel in grad school.
