My mom and Duke arrive today! I'm so excited. I am crossing my fingers that he picks a grad school in Georgia next year - but even if he doesn't, I'm soaking up every minute of having them here!

Last weekend I was lucky enough to attend Greg and Kari's beautiful wedding in Georgia.
The weekend was packed full, with the bachelorette/bachelor parties Thursday night, the rehearsal dinner Friday night, and the wedding Saturday. Everything was perfect and my only complaint is that it flew by far too quickly.
Kari's maid of honor, Maria, owns a bakery and made her cake. On Saturday morning, Maria let me help with the cake baking project (she took a risk).

Is it bad if it's only Tuesday and I'm already thinking about the weekend? I'm headed to Georgia Thursday for a wedding at Lake Oconee and I'm giddy with excitement.
My dress is being dry cleaned as we speak, my earrings and necklace are set out, and my suitcase will be packed this evening.
